The Parenting Resource Center – Kerrville, Texas

Our Mission:
To provide parenting resources and education to our community, enabling families to:
• Give Birth to healthy babies
• Develop effective parenting skills
• Create strong, thriving families
• Break the cycle of child abuse and neglect

Community Impact
Our center has impacted this community with more than 3,000 new babies over the past 10 years, as well as providing material assistance through education to those who may have thought they were not ready to be parents. We have also provided adoption options to those who truly are not ready to become parents.

In the past ten years we have taught thousands of parenting classes, improving the skills of thousands of parents and the lives of many thousands of children in our community.

Currently, our biggest need is for funds to purchase baby equipment that is given to our clients through our Earn While You Learn program. In spite of Covid, last year mothers and fathers attended 1,644 hours of pre-natal and parenting classes, earning $25,000 worth of baby equipment such as car seats, strollers, high chairs, Pac n plays, clothing, formula, diapers and more.
